Classes in the Cider House
We offer several food and drink-related courses for groups. The beverages we make in the cider cellar, the bread we bake in our wood-fired oven, and the food we make in the restaurant—everything you can participate in and learn more about. We also have plenty of space and facilities for your own seminars or classes. Please contact us for more information.
Your own classes
Have your own classes and seminars at the Cider House.
It’s good to be away from your workplace and focus on a topic at an academic gathering, class, or seminar. The Cider House can host and cater such occasions, and can offer teambuilding activities or a well-earned rest with cider tasting in the cellar after the session. We can in many cases offer help with process management or business strategies.
See Interplan for more information or contact us.
Many have tried winemaking as a hobby. It’s great fun to serve your own beverages made from your own harvest.
The Cider House offers workshops and classes by special arrangement. Apple varieties best suited to cider, wild yeast versus wine yeast, chemistry, hygiene, and especially patience are key topics.
We bake the bread for the Cider House ourselves in our wood-fired oven.
From the bakery in Lom and from Gudny at Lustrabui bakery we have learned the art of baking. It feels good to give others a chance to learn this type of baking.
We can arrange baking classes for groups. We also announce on Facebook and our website when we have classes for individual registration.
